AI & Model Disclosure

1. Product Nature & Capabilities

Fit & Share is an AI-powered visual preview tool engineered to help online shoppers and fashion enthusiasts visualize garments on their own body before making a purchase. Users submit a full-body or half-body photo of themselves alongside an image of a garment. Our generative pipeline synthesizes a composite image showing how the garment may look when worn.

What Our Service Is NOT: Fit & Share is strictly a fashion try-on preview platform. It does not provide face-swapping, face-morphing, deepfake synthesis, or erotic image alteration. We strictly prohibit any use intended to deceive, harass, or impersonate individuals.

2. Pixel Reconstruction & Identity Preservation Notice

To achieve photorealistic fabric blending, realistic necklines, lighting coherence, and accurate garment drape, our AI system synthesizes the entire image canvas rather than pasting a 2D cut-out over the original photo.

Important Notice on Facial Rendering: Because the underlying generative model re-renders pixels across the composition to match natural ambient lighting and clothing contours, facial features in the generated preview are resynthesized. While our prompts and parameters are tuned to preserve the original wearer's identity, likeness, hair, and body proportions, minor variations in facial texture or expression may occur.

Previews are intended as visual references, not photographic proofs of identity or precision measurements.

3. Production Models & Infrastructure

In compliance with merchant transparency standards and AI governance best practices, we explicitly disclose the AI models and suppliers utilized in our live pipeline:

Image Generation & Try-On Synthesis

OpenAI gpt-image-2

Performs multi-reference image synthesis by conditioning on the user's person photo, the garment image, and category-tailored synthesis instructions. Generation uses OpenAI GPT image (or a similar service). The label above is the current production model.

Garment Category Classification

OpenAI gpt-4o-mini

Analyzes the uploaded garment image to categorize it (e.g. top, bottom, or dress), ensuring that the generative model preserves unreplaced clothing components (such as pants when trying on a top).

Content Safety & Moderation (Active Rollout)

OpenAI Moderations (omni-moderation-latest)

Designated moderation service integrated into our safety architecture to evaluate user prompts, uploaded images, and generated previews against prohibited content policies. Full automated fail-closed gating is being deployed across generation pipelines to precede live commercial checkout.

4. Sizing & Accuracy Disclaimers

AI-generated try-on results are approximate visual simulations. They do not constitute fit consultations or purchase advice. Specific limitations include:

  • No Guarantee of Physical Fit: The system does not measure physical dimensions, garment stretch, fabric elasticity, or tailor tolerances.
  • Color & Texture Variance: Screen calibration, ambient lighting, and generative color interpretation may cause rendered shades or fabric finishes to differ from actual retail items.
  • Complex Patterns & Accessories: Intricate embroidery, lace, fine jewelry, or complex footwear may be simplified or approximated during image synthesis.

5. Data Flow, Privacy & Model Training

Your privacy is central to our design:

  • No Model Training on User Photos: We do not train, retrain, or fine-tune public AI models on your uploaded photos or try-on outputs. Under OpenAI's commercial API policy, API data is not used to train OpenAI models.
  • Private Encrypted Storage: Images are stored in access-controlled Supabase Storage buckets and served via short-lived signed URLs.
  • User Data Deletion: You may request complete erasure of your uploaded and generated images at any time by contacting support@fitandshare.online.

For further information, please consult our full Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
