Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in, we create an anonymous account identified by your authentication provider's unique ID. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers beyond what is necessary to maintain your account.
Uploaded Photos: You may upload photos of yourself (person photos) and images of clothing (garment photos) for the purpose of generating virtual try-on results. These are stored in our cloud storage infrastructure.
Generated Results: The try-on output images produced by our service are stored and associated with your account.
Usage Data: We collect behavioral events (e.g., pages visited, features used, generation requests) to improve the service and monitor performance.

How We Use Your Information

Photo Processing: Your uploaded photos are used exclusively to generate virtual try-on results. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.
AI Model Training: We do not use your uploaded photos or generated results to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Images sent to OpenAI API for processing are subject to OpenAI's data usage policy (see Section 5).
Service Improvement: Aggregate usage data helps us understand how the service is used and identify areas for improvement. This data is not linked to your uploaded photos.

Photo Storage & Retention

Storage Locations: Uploaded person photos and garment images are stored in the try-on-inputs bucket. Generated try-on results are stored in the try-on-results bucket.
Retention: Photos and results are retained in storage after job completion. A record of each generation is kept in our database for history purposes.
History Display: Your history page shows past try-on results. Removing an item from your history performs a soft-delete (the record is marked as deleted in the database), but the underlying files in storage are not automatically removed.

Data Deletion

Deleting an item from your history removes the reference from your history view but does not automatically delete the stored image files. To request complete removal of your uploaded photos and generated results from our storage, please contact our support team at support@fitmirror.app.

When contacting us, please include the account identifier or email associated with your account so we can process your request promptly. We will confirm once the files have been removed.

Third-Party Services

FitMirror relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own data handling practices:

OpenAI API: Images submitted for try-on generation are processed by OpenAI's vision models. OpenAI does not use API data to train or improve its models by default. Data transmitted through the API is retained for up to 30 days for abuse and anomaly monitoring, after which it is deleted (unless a longer retention is required by law). Supabase: We use Supabase for database storage and file storage (bucket storage). Supabase acts as a data processor and stores data in accordance with their security practices. See Supabase Privacy Policy for details.
